search function ?

guys, it's dreadful and getting worse

is this on the list to be fixed ?

it now only returnes posts from 2009 ! (not so long ago it maanged 2008 as well)


personally, as a buyer of older cars mainly, I'd like to see it search back to the beginning, or at least 4 or 5 years back

the search function on this site potentailly commands a goldmine of car information unlike any other on the internet... surely it should be sorted ?


and also the 'just in titles' checkbox doesn't work

The problem is that the search can only cope with a certain number of posts, and as the number of posts per month on PH goes up and up the period that the search can cope with is going down and down.

It is on the list to be fixed, but it has had too many sticking plasters applied over the years and now needs re-building from the ground up, so it isn't a quick job.

In the mean time, you can search PH via google by typing in "siteistonheads.com/gassing" ahead of whatever you want to search for.
