Good Deal - I purchased an elite with fifa 10 and FM3 for £199

Traded in fifa for £22 and topped up with a tenner for MW2

So I paid £210 in total

It wasn't a question for advice, it was directed to those who haven't got one and might be thinking about it Bit misleading title, really.

That said, I've got an old Premium but I'm sorely tempted by that deal, then flog the Premium or keep it as a backup.

Nope, doesn't matter.

But arguably a lot of the appeal with 360s is multiplayer via Live.

Yes, no internet means no online gaming.

It has a wired connection, if that is any use.

Not hugely, you can still play offline.

You're missing out on Live though, which is fun, and all the streaming media stuff. Dont forget it has an RJ45 port for hardwiring to your router, or using a little wifi client with RJ45 coming out of it. I use a little DLink thingy that I got years ago to do just this. Not sure anyone does them these days though.
