MW2 - Choice of Weapon?

As the title really, what's everyones weapons of choice? Also what add-on's etc is everyone using?

I've not played a CoD game for a while and wandered if there one gun stood out as being a much better choice than the others?

Well my fav at the min is the 1st gun i think its M4A1 with the launcher on it. I do like the SCAR. Im doing all the challenges with every gun so will try the other guns out after i finish the challenges

SCAR with iron sights - most effective so far. I find it easier than with the new ACOG sight which I still need to get used to. LSW is quite good too on the busier levels where lots of ammo is required.

Only at Lvl 10 after a few hours of online play last night, so at the mo its the M4 with red-dot.

Rpd light machine gun with grip. Stopping power, sleight of hand and scramblers as perks, working well for me at the moment.

Can be used from room clearing to picking people off at range.

i do like the thermal scope on the m4a1. Also the ACOG is much better on MW2 than cod4

Not played the game yet, but the LSW should come with the SUSAT sight and 30 Round Magazine I would have thought. Do they have an animation for loading a 100 round Mag?

That was my first thought as we used them in army cadets

In the game they use a double drum magazine similar to on the G36 of COD4 which you can see when reloading. The sight as standard is red dot, not SUSAT (equivalent is probably the ACOG).

May not be realistic but at least some Brit weapons gets a mention...SA80A2 would have been nice in the assault rifle section though.

Coz he doesn't know how to counter it....


I like the new ACOG. Doesn't sway as much and gives a better FOV than the old one.

i've been using the FAMAS with a grenade launcher.

only at level 14 so far but i'm actually missing it whilst i am at work!!!!
