Is it just me that thinks it looks blue rather than black?

I've got a feeling this month's unemployment figures are going to be increased by 1...

Dear oh dear, certainly looks like the case of an employee arsing about in a client's car... Could be wrong, but that looks a big shunt...

Oh and it certainly doesn't look black!

The car belonged to a member of the Maserati forum, apparently a member of Ross Packards staff had been returning it from Meridian when it was crashed. Ross Packard has allready given the owner a generous cheque to cover the cost of the car.

Was my car - and yes, blue not black. Ross has been really good about it and I would not hesitate to use them again.

I'll see if I can upload some before and after pics:

After

I hope he gave you a cheque nearer the 30k than the 20k printed in the Echo!

There was one just like that rear ended on the Keynsham bypass in the middle of last week. Didn't see the car close up but the Astra that shunted it was a right mess, bonnet right up.

BUT I did note the car had a P then single digit numberplate. A strange coincidence.

It's well beyond economic repair, in fact with half that damage it would have been written off. Maserati parts aren't cheap.

And the roof airbag - special Maserati safety feature. Roll the car and you just go bouncing down the road bounce. Damn clever, these Italians.

Oh dear - gutted for you. at least the garage is dealing with it in the correct manner. Was this member of staff enjoying the journey a little too much then? Never seen one of those airbags before.

Gutted for the loss of your car, but nice to see a garage own up (not that it could be anyone elses fault hehe) and immediately put the owner right! thumbup Going to be replaced or are you looking at something new now?

I almost was sucked in by the roof airbag, until I realised that there was no such thing tongue out

sorry for your loss mate, maybe a GS next?

Another vote of confidence in Ross, carried out some work for me not so long ago & was one of those surprisingly efficient & courteous companies with exceptional standards of work.

A GranSport would be good, a bit over budget at the moment but if I wait a month or two there may be some winter bargains around.
As an interim measure I was toying with the idea of an RX-8
