Workshop manual for Griff/Chimp?

Can anyone recommend a workshop manual for Griffs/chimps? I have Steve Heaths book which whilst being excellent doesn’t have any details on torque settings for bolts etc.

I think the best one is from Steve Heath I'm not sure if he has any left, if not they often pop up on here or ebay.

The cost about £30 something new via the TVRCC, but when they go on ebay, they can end around £40. One on there at the moment - http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&am...

I managed to get one for £10 on a BIN a few months ago! It had only been listed about 20 minutes prior to me buying it!

It's ok,[ish] has info' on what 6k/12k service involed etc. But, has some incorrect pictures namely the Diff' section. This confused me as the photo's led me [and others] to believe I had a Hydratrak diff in my car when in fact it's a BTR. Critical, as you MUST use correct oil in either. Steve Heaths a better bet.

For those interested, Derek Smith has been producing a manual that is free, available if you contact Derek via here: http://rv8r.co.uk/resource.html

Its not fully comprehensive but its nicely done and above all free!!
I think the more interest he gets, the greater the chances of it being improved and grown, so its worth a look. (I have no affiliation, Derek's just been very helpful with my questions)

To all those who have ordered the file: the emails which came in before 11pm have had one sent out to them. If you haven't received it, please let me know. I've sent most out in groups of half a dozen or so and some spam guards are more nervous than a 40-year-old virgin.

Just to clarify: the Griffith and Chimaera Resource is not a workshop manual. It was never intended to be. It has started as a servicing guide with additional bits, like playing about with the dashboard. It is intended to build on this base as the months go by with regular updates. I'll follow the feedback, but at the moment it's more to do with enhancing the enjoyment of owning these cars.

All of my books are available from the TVR Car Club & you don't have to be a member to buy them from the Club.
