London night photos

Hi Guys
Had a few spare minutes before an exhibition install last night and took the opportunity to take a few with my 50D and new 24-70 L
Quite pleased, but I think the 50D must have a few dead pixels as 4 red spots appear in every frame
To be honest, I suspect this is not an uncommon problem and only ever noticed on 'dead of night shots' but would be interested in your experiences of similar problems.

Do you get the red spots on daylight shots too? Does turning on the long exposure noise reduction fix the problem?Pete
