Frankly - no. Do a search, there was another thread about this a couple of months ago.

Indeed. I suggested Newcastle was the best place to eat in Middlesborough. The Boro boys thought I was being disrespectful out of spite when I was being genuinely honest, and I still maintain my statement. L.F.
The best place for Parmos in the Teesside area is The Buck at Great Ayton. The guy who claims to have invented them is the chef there. Or the chef's son. Or has some tenous link with him, I forget...
In Middlesbrough itself, I can recommend Fellini's, an very good Italian restaurant on Linthorpe Rd.

he claims to have invented them, but he didnt. dnt think anyone did really, its just an evolution of an old italian dish. has worked for him though as he's ruddy busy!!! wouldnt touch a parmo with a barge pole like! cant stand them.In Middlesbrough itself, I can recommend Fellini's, an very good Italian restaurant on Linthorpe Rd.
