November 17th FM3 Free DLC

Has this been mentioned and I've missed it, or have you lot not ventured far enough away from the 360 to notice it?

3x cars for free on the 17th, Rhys Millen Racing Red Bull, HKS and FM3 Genesis Coupes.

They are also saying the Ferrari 458 will also be out by xmas, I suspect we'll have to pay for that though. I never really got into Forza 2, but when they previously realised DLC stuff for that, was it generally free or pay?

Forza 2 DLC's were 800 MS points each IIRC.

So far for FM3, we've had the free DLC that came on the scratch card in the game box and this 'Hyundai bought' DLC coming up, which is also free. I don't expect the proper DLC's will be free though.

According to this http://www.mspconverter.com/ 800 points is £6.80, does that sound about right, I've had my 360 for a couple of years but never bought any points, seems like quite a bit, unless it's loads of cars. Can't see me bothering to buy many.

normally about 10 cars and 1 track.

I bought all the old ones, was worth it IMO. They usually release one of the cars free per pack.

Not sure if the code is still active chaps as I spotted this late, but enter code ZG753 and get £15 off any first order at Littlewoods, so obviously, that'll make 2100 MS points £7 with free delivery.

they were 800 when they came out, only went down to 400 many many months later

These articles say different, I can remember getting them almost immediately after launch and only paying 400 points for them, purely because I'd never have paid 800 points as it wouldn't be value for money in my eyes.

Yep still works - i am gonna go buy 4200 points for £27 now - 2100 is also £7 but i want MORE!!!!

Be careful, there are reports that Littlewoods may just take the £15 back from you at a later date, it's probably worth the risk, but you may well find that they're not quite the bargain they seem.
