Whats underneath ?

The underside and rear wheel arches of my S3 are covered in spray on underseal ( Shulz ? ). There appears to be no paint underneath it.
From new would it have been just the bare fibreglass ?

Just painted mine, and that looked like bare fibreglass.

I suppose they did'nt paint them, as there is no need.

Usually the wheel arches and anything that catches stones are treated with some sort of underseal to stop chipping and star cracks.
Well thats what most 7 owners do.
One peice grp though on the wings/arches.

Used some stuff called Wonderseal - goes on like a thick underseal.

Saying this i havn't done the S with it but think it has stone chip on the arches already.
