No copy of email

Hello techie team, I'm busy sending emails via the PH system, but I'm not getting a copy as I would normally expect to my own account. Has this feature been turned off or are my email in some cyberspace void out in the middle of nowhere?!

It's quite important I contact the following esteemed PHers!

My thread reply notifications and advert responses are taking several hours to get through too.

The PH Email system is currently having a hissy fit and has broken down for the moment. We are working hard on fixing it right now.

I sent one last night and the copy came through at about 10.30 this morning, so I guess the hamsters have had their hibernation rudely interrupted and are back on the wheel as I type

We have solved the problem with the mail server so everything should be the usual speed again.

(Though we currently have a problem with hotmail accounts we are trying to solve, so if you have one of those it may still be an issue)

Things appear to be coming through now, I've had a few notifications and replies from the stuff I sent last night. I'm guessing you are using Royal Fail for your delivery system?!

We are using them but we are being charged 5p less than they cost to deliver it... bargain!
