Low flying - Mach loop, lots of sweet flying :-)
Discussion
Spent Friday up on Cad West in the Mach Loop, as the squadron leader of the F-15s at Lakenheath was doing his last day of flying and he tore the place to f**king pieces! Afterburners on, upside down passes, straight over the top of us. Cracking flying from everyone. Poor light at hime meant High ISOs
F-15s first wave of passes.

This was 11am and not sunset!

The RAF soon turned up literally two seconds later with a pair of Hawks going uber fast, knife edged it and straight over the top of us with two passes.

Then USAF had seen the RAF and fancied some more...

Going upside down

Then the RAF were back for more with a Harrier going high and then inverting it over the pass.

All in all, a good morning
C+C welcome guys
Thanks for looking, Dave

There isn't, your never guarenteed to see anything, but the chances are very high due to RAF Valley being so close. This was only sent around due to the pilot leaving for the USA and then word got out to everyone and there were about 200 or so people in the end on different spots round the loop.

Cheers. Great shots. It's a 500 mile round trip but, you know what, I think I'll head over there sometime soon. A crisp clear sunny winters day would be fantastic.Gassing Station | Photography & Video | Top of Page | What's New | My Stuff
