Has anyone managed to get sky going through the xbox?

I had it working last night, watched cloverfield. The quality was fantastic to say it was a stream.

Sky Player was on the video marketplace bit.

I was quite excited about this, but have no sign of it on my xbox, so have given up all hope

apparently loads of ppl have tried it and its bought down the servers

so they've limited people going on and limited the channels u can see

yes my partner got sky working last night through xbox - you do have to pay ie for sky movies 1-2 sky sports 1-2 and sky sports extra.

I think it's free if you have multi-room but everyone else has to pay.

If you are a Sky customer already and have multi room or broadband unlimited, you get everything free irrespective of your package. If you do not have multi room or broadband unlimited, you just get what you already subscribe to

I think Xbox missed a trick, PS3 has BBC I player which is quite good, i thought SKY thing would give you some free stuff or atleast what i have currently paid for downstairs.

Also got it Tuesday and the quality of the picture is excellent, and this through the (Sky) Netgear box and Microsoft XBox wireless dongle thing. Broadband coming down the pipe at 4.2mbps connection speed according to those speed check sites.

Ive got the same set up but rolling around 7-8mbps but cant download the player FFS Sort this sh*t out!

If you go to the Skyplayer site there's a message about rolling out the software for the Xbox over the next few days. Skyplayer is much better on the Xbox than the pc, too. With the PC you have to log in every bloody time, the xbox seems to accept just logging in to your xbox live account.

Not for me! It makes me log in again every time and then check the auto log in box, but nexttime it still comes up!
