Rome: Total War for PC

Dumb question but is it any good?! Just noticed it's only a fiver off Steam. Read some reviews and appears to be a safe bet. Not sure I like the idea of turn-based games, just seems kind of old fashioned to me! For a fiver I might give it a go. . .

£5? A bargain then, a very enjoyable game. Nothing like dashing a hoard of barbarians against the steel of your Legions.

Dont be put off by the idea of it being turn based, thats only half the game. The rest of the time you will be managing you trade/alliances, and the most important bit having huge battles against dozens of different countries, and generally expanding the Roman Empire.

It is a little out of date when compaired with total war medieval 2 or the latest one empire, but for a fiver you cant go wrong.
