I'd just like to say how disappointed I am that the F3/GT series has been reduced to a tour of the South of the country, with Ireland thrown in for good measure. Knockhill and Croft may not have the track length of Silverstone and Brands, but for us up North they're all we've got. Its also worth saying that the sight of a pair of Saleens or Moslers battling it out on the twisty Knockhill circuit, while standing a few yards from the track is a spectacle that Silverstone, with its sweeping curves and 50 yards of gravel and barriers between spectators and cars can never come close to.

Rumour was last week that Knockhill is back in. I've not seen official confirmation yet.

Well if it is I hope its replacing Mondello and I hope they sort out the clash with the opening LMES race at Monza - ridiculous.

If the clash stays there are at least 5 brit GT teams that will be very stretched indeed as they plan to run in some way in both series.

It's a shame that the GT's are not going further north than Oulton, but F3 is going to Croft and (AFAIK) Knockhill.
