Anyone want a V8S exhaust?

Unless I'm very much mistaken, this is for a V8S:

Hard to tell without more pictures, but the 'S2' in the part number might hint it's for one of the v6 models?

According to the Jan 1990 parts catalogue the exhaust systems part numbers start S29S 100** so if the stamp read something similar rather than S2U as it seems it could well be a V6 varient - if it is a V8 then its very early assuming the **/91 date look-alike is actually the date - being TVR and all that #

It looks nothing like mine, but then a blacksmith made mine all out of stainless 10 years ago

Yeah, well, TVR fitted mine 17 years ago and I replaced it with a SS version courtesy of JP this year and this is what they both look like:



As I said, "unless I'm very much mistaken". Caveat emptor and all that...

Well the V8 does have a T (or ACT Y ) piece so it probably is - the part numbers could be, sort of, in the right range too.

The sad part is that its no stronger than the thickness of the plate its welded to.
