I'm wondering, the little text box where you can type a message when you apply for a job, that's not intended for a full personal statement/cover letter is it? I've just been copy&pasting the blurb from my CV.
I always assumed it was the equivalent of writing a cover letter for that part, but I will get someone from the Jobs site to respond to you as they would be more qualified to answer.
