What Camera?

I know this has most probably been asked a million times before. I want to spend about £250 on a new camera. Any recommendations? My initial thoughts are a Panasonic Lumix TZ7

Brilliant camera, superb optics, really nothing to fault. If you don't need the HD video, get the TZ6 for about £80 cheaper.

Tz7 has a Hi-res screen so straight away the images are a lot clearer.
The 12x zoom is really powerful and works well with the automatic settings built into the camera.

Go for it, great little camera.
