Question from first timer
Discussion
Hi,
First visit to Le Mans and have decided to make a week of it.I will be in Maison Blanche,as I will be arriving early I assume the site will be pretty empty. Given a choice, what is the ideal position to pitch the tent? Anyone got a layout of site?
Can anyone recommend things of interest to see or do in the area?
Looking forward to seeing a few more Tiv's
Any help/advice appreciated

Masion Blanche fills up fairly early so you'll soon have a few mates!
Like someone said already, there is just too much to do. Its like Disney land for PetrolHeads!
You can always seek out the swimming pool in town. Its a nice new one with good changing rooms, showers, bogs etc.
If you wanna swim though you have to wear speedos, no shorts allowed.

If you are going to be able to pick your campsite, I'd recommend selecting a site next to the "road" instead of further in the field. Last year I was sort of in the middle of a field in bleu and ended up getting boxed in by people who arrived later and couldn't get my car in and out. In other words, make sure that nobody can put themselves between your car and the road... Driving around is half the fun!
Thanks everyone for your comments,
Drinking, driving, swimming, sightseeing plus the racing seems a good way to spend the week. Hope the sun shines
Karen, looks like your region is going well equipped!
Look forward to meeting some of you,
Steve
