Bespoke Wheel Manufacture
Discussion
Have been searching the net for ever seeking some wheels to float my boat and found nothing.
Performance Alloys can make me a bespoke 3 piece to my design but ideally I fancy a 1 piece.
There are a couple of Japcrap designs I have the hots for but the 12.5 rears are not available. Is it possible to do a cut and shut and combine 2 say, 9inch wheels?
Anybody encountered a specialist with casting/CNC facility or any other thoughts?

Forgeline makes a lightweight forge 1 piece wheel.

HRE wheels have a large variety of stylish wheels as well.

It's not that uncommon to add width in wheels. Some GT40 replica owners with the Le Mans flares find they want wider than available wheels and have had a few inches added to the width.
One such company this side of the pond is http://www.weldcraftwheels.com/
I'm guessing there must be similar service providers in Europe.

I used Ebay specials on the Tempest and had them widened. However, the widening was done on the inside of the wheel. Im not sure if its possible to get them widened to the outside, as it would not be a good idea to grind the weld smooth. The welds are on the inside of the rears on the Tempest and are not visible.
The wheels were USD540 for the set and the widening was USD460 for 2.

Superlight in Gloucester used to say that they could do any design the customer wanted IIRC.
I wouldn't recommend Superlight for bespoke wheels.Do you have any experience of dealing with them?
I've no vested interest, just curious as to why you dismiss them.

I couldn't help but chime in here just to say John @ CCWheel is great to work with. His products are wonderful as well.
Given the opportunity, I will buy wheels from him again.
B.
Do they have the Ultima offsets then? Given the opportunity, I will buy wheels from him again.

I'm looking at their webpage and they have some nice designs which I think would suit the Ultima:
505a (a nod to Corvette/GM components used in Ultima's)
SP500 and SP600 look good too and if I had a red GTR I'd get them poweder coated white...

The way he usually does his modular wheels is to manufacture the center with a back-pad that can be cut away to create specific offsets so there is quite a range of possibilities. I presume he does the same with the one piece wheels.
Click on the wheel you like in the gallery, then, in the following window, switch to SPECS/OPTIONS.
They probably have more than what is shown there.
Best to call/email.
