Hi all

Having washed my slk350 on sunday i noticed some very slight lifting of the laquer on the edges of my front wheels.(Not the rim the spokes as i call them)
It has no wheel rim damage nor stone chips, the car has full dealer service history and has just done 17056 miles.
Do any of you know if this would be worth chasing through my local dealer for a warranty/good will claim
Or should i just get them re,done by my local chips away guy

Many thanks Pete

With the history of your car, you should definately get the dealer to look at it and make a claim.

I just had this on my 3.5 year old CLS55 the spokes were delaminating

Inchcape said no chance but claimed anyway and eventually MB offered 50% of two brand new front wheels which I reluctantly accepted

Hope that helps
