Hi guys,

Ive just paid the deposit on the S (yeeehaa) so the car is going into build imminently(sp?). Nebula black, black interior, red seat inserts, red radio and gear shift pods, red piping, and red stitching throughout. Also alloy switchgear. Before its too late is there anything else you guys would reccomend specifying at this point? Cheers.

Neil,

Your car sounds great! I bought an S last April, almost the same. Moonraker black, black interior with scarlet red (and stitching) in all the same places as you, but also the gearlever and handbrake too. If you want to consider having these scarlet too, email my profile and I'll send you a picture.

Have you considered:-

o Front spolier colour coded?
o Paint your rear brake calipers?
o Stainless steel cans if you have opted for silver alloys?
o Armourfend?
o Does your insurance require a tracker to be fitted?

Obviously all dealers differ, but almost all of the above was paid for by the dealer when I bought mine. If you have not considered any of the above, its worth asking before you pay the remainder!

Enjoy your new toy!

Thanks guys. Am still nervous never having comitted to spending so much cash but I'm sure all nerves will be gone in April. Some great ideas. Not too sure about the anthracite wheels but I'll take a look. Any photos of the wheels, painted seat backs? Am so excited and its great to be able to share it with you guys.

Pics of my car are here

Yours sounds like a similar colour scheme to mine, so I'd certainly recommend anthracite wheels

Get them to wire up the radio so it works with the ignition off - a trivial point but it's something I've always asked for.

I love the wheels. Are they a cost option?

This may sound a bit daft .....

Have you considered a 12 Volt socket in the Boot to plug in a Coolbox - very useful on hot days out at car events. (But don't leave it plugged in with the engine switched off)
