Just came back from there... Head to China China in Cowes, awesome Chinese (no, really! ) restaurant!

The Hambrough Hotel in Ventnor is supposed to be 'The place' to eat, not been there myself but it is reputedly top nosh.

Avoid Sandown, it's a dump.

Mainly used by sea farers as access from the river is the easiest, via the Waterbus out of Cowes, but if you have a car then shouldnt be a problem
