Just wondering if anyone was racing this weekend at Snetterton as part of the Future Classics series run by the Classic Sports Car Club?

If so I will be in a white MR2 -Number 9 (provisional).

See you there - racing in Tin tops on the Saturday & then Future Classics on the Sunday in my white Alfa 33 (No 23). With 39 cars entered, should be great fun!!

I'm out in FC's - Porsche 911 # 47 - and am also doing the Sports vs. Saloons on the Saturday - comparatively cheap testing! Do come and say hello.

That'll be us. Usual late night building maladies so we forgot to attach all the exhaust hangers to the chassis so it dropped down at one of the joints.

Looking forward to the weekend though, big field and loads of us in Class C for a change.

Well a great weekend. Good to meet everyone, our first race that we actually finished. just we had to nurse the pads to the finish. Mental note bring spare pads in the future.

Just need the results now.... no idea what's going on at TSL.

Hi Lee

Great weekend and an eye opener for me being the first race!

Nice to meet you in the assembly area and share nerves....

Great tussle on track I wish my camera was working for that part as it was intense between yourself and me for about 3 laps. Hope you enjoyed it.

send me an email (through Pistonheads) with you contact details and we can exchange photos etc if we get any.

Cheers

Paul

Hi Paul

I'm the co-driver of the 325 with Lee.

I thought your driving was excellent and although we don't have lap by lap analysis yet I would imagine you got quicker through the race. On the other hand I was bobbins-my lines were none existent and I just didn't "get" the tarck quickly enough having never driven there before.

You were a bit fornunate on the penultimate lap through Russell where you span and ended up facing the right direction! I was right behine you but could get round you. You did me a favour though-you pushed the black Jag hard through Riches where he ended up in the cabbage patch. I overtook him and fended him off with literally 1m in it at the line!

Great stuff-I've also asked CSCC if they can provide a forum on their website.

Results are up smile We finished 25th really really pleased with that. Certainly better than we thought!
Good news about the forum. Really enjoyed the weekend.
Our decision is made we will be doing next season, that's for sure. Already planning on spending some money on driver training.

Hi m0GGY (Sorry forgot your name)

Thanks for the praise not sure about excellent but I gave 100% of my ability just need to get bigger balls for that few extra mph around the corners oh and some driver tuition.

Yeah was lucky with the spin, really pleased that no one hit me.....

The BMW looks fun, the back end was all over the place through the Bomb Hole! Great to watch in the rear view mirror.

I thought it had died when the web site changed. The new one will be live in a few days.
