Hi, no problem with you taking objection to my use of "lunatic fringe" and denying me access to the climate change thread. However, if you do a search for "True Believer", you will find that a very similar sort of insult has been aimed in my direction for several years now on a pretty regular basis. Surely some mods must have seen it before, so why is "true believer" O.K., but not "lunatic fringe"?

N.B. I took the insults without complaining.

It's not about rights or wrongs on the subject matter.

It's about respect and decency to everyone else.

I posted a clear warning, politely asking everyone to basically calm down. And that appropriate action would be taken if anyone continued in that same vein - just so expectations were re-set for everyone.

You failed to understand that - so I took appropriate action. I would have done the same no matter who that person was.

I'm not prepared to publicly discuss this - as a clear warning was given, then ignored, so appropriate action taken. It does not get more simple than that.

End of discussion. If you're not satisfied, then I suggest you take it up with PH management directly. Although - I fail to see how they could see it any different. The warning was clear and simple; and subsequently ignored.

Lets move on. There's a big interweb out there.
