Was that with Shopto by any chance? I got a text from them yesterday saying mine was being sent out, so I'm expecting that today.

Yeah they're usually pretty good price-wise, but that was a really good price for it, tempted me to climb down off the fence and put in the order.

Another one of those reasons to pre-order though as you quite often get games a couple of days early from them.

Screw the price guys....

Get on and play the damned thing so you can tell me whether it's worth getting or not!

It's either this, or I'm waiting for Dragon Age: Origins!

playing it now on my PC...a bit disappointing to be honest

got the graphics maxxed out at 1920 on a 28" screen...they look about err....3 years old frown

too many buttons required and squad control mechanics nowhere near as intuitive as say Brothers in Arms series of games

I may persevere with it later to see if it "grabs me" a bit more, but sadly I think it will end up on the shelf....too much SIM and not enough fun/ease of access IMO

Apart from using your card details to buy phone credit, they are great wink

Happened to me and have a quick read on the net to see how many other people it has happened to wink

It also happened to plenty of other people who have never used shopto. I had my card cloned earlier in the year and have used shopto several times since without any further issue.

This explains it further:

I think boycotting them because of one instance that you can't actually prove was them and not the bank is a little unfair.

I believe I have read that one before, it says they don't store card details IIRC (can't check as blocked at work) ? I never had to re-enter my card details when making purchases, so how do they know what they are if they don't store them wink

Basically, the bank told me where my card was used to buy phone credit, I looked for anywhere I had my card registered that was nearby and up popped shopto. I then did a Google on fraud/scam/phone credit with shopto and disturbingly, there are loads of stories relating to shopto and card details being used to buy phone credit.

I used them for years and really didn't want to stop, but as they say, there is no smoke without fire and shopto was bellowing out the stuff frown

Anyway, this is digressing form the thread, everybody enjoy Flashpoint, I shall be giving it a miss as it looks a bit too serious for me smile

Posted on the other thread, I got to the fourth mission, but I'm still trying to play it a bit much like COD. Need to think a little more tactically methinks.
