Morning all,

I've been looking for a camera rucksack for a while, the cheapest id seen was £40, the most expensive was a couple of hundred quid!

Until Saturday, that is, when i found this little beauty on 7dayshop - £17.99 + £1.95 P+P. I just thought it might be useful to some people here.

I had a similar thing like that but with a hard case, by Sacar. The useful thing is that you can store the camera with long lens attached, and also everything is accessible on one layer - no digging.

My thoughts exactly, although my 400mm lens won't fit whilst on the camera (there are measurements on that site) so ill have to put the body itself in another section, but thats no great problem.

My friend has that very case

It served him well on a recent wet and windy trip to the isle of anglesey during the christmas break.

If I didn't already have a Lowepro mini trekker aw rucksac, i'd have got one.

lol - yeah, i might need one! The height of the bag is about 330mm if memory serves, and the lens is about 310mm, but i can always put the camera body in one of the side sections - i usually use a smaller lens anyway.

Lowepro Mini Trekker is exactly what i was considering before i saw this one - only disadvantage to the cheapy is that it doesnt have a side strap for a tripod, but im sure i can* get out a needle and thread and attach one....

I agree about the tripod strap, that's a must , although my friend just uses a quick release webbing strap on his to get the same result.

The quality of the divders used on the Lowepro is far better, but thats what you get on a bag 3 times the price.

The 7day shop item is a very very hard act to beat.

Pay on-line or by phone? I ask as I rang, and after holding for ages got the 'worlds most bored-of-my-job woman' at the other end.

LOL

I ordered online, always do with 7dayshop. Just as an aside, they do 20x36exp Fujifilm Superia films for about £22!

Nope It was showing as 'Dispatched' (their spelling, not mine) on their site on Wednesday or Thursday so im hoping itll be here today! I had it sent to my work, so if it arrived on Saturday it would probably end up at the bosses house!

Right, ive now transferred all my stuff over and im really pleased with the bag. The only thing i'd change is the zips - theyre a bit stiff and you have to pull them quite hard - which risks them breaking. Im sure theyll loosen up though with time.

Thats the outer pocket with my films in - if you look on the right, you can see the camera body poking out (you should be able to recognise it from the first pic). Theres a pocket on the outside of the bag (on the flap that you open), a pocket on the inside of the flap and the main area for storing bits.

Looks good, and just as I remembered it from christmas.

I'm sure a nice new Dslr would look the MUTZ in there m8, then you can throw the old films away
