We have just bought some fitted bedroom furniture from a large high street name brand, who's name is similar to the work I am doing myself (no, not cocking it up!).

Anyways, after decided on another item, we used tired to order it via the web (available buy on-line and not collect from store). When we tried to go through the check-out section it came up with an error saying not available online. So, goes to the helpline and they say, store order only. Contact the store and they say yep, not problem £350.

Err, hold on. On the web it is £200. Sorry, thats a website only offer.

Can they do this?

Just in case this comes up in a future search, apparently it is misrepresentation according to Trading Standards.

Funnily enough the store have decided to match the price after some head office advice.....
