Advice with brake judder/warped discs or tracking
Discussion
Thought I'd ask everyones advice on this one. When I brake i get a slight judder through the pedal and the steering wheel. I've had the car for 1500 miles now but the discs and pads were fairly recent when i bought the car,i thought they may be warped. I had the car on the lift last week to give it the once over and noticed that the front offside tyre was worn on the inside edge. I'm sure then that the tracking is out slighty as the steering wheel also sits slightly off centre. If the front tracking is out could this be the main cause for the judder when braking.
I'm now thinking of replacing the two front tyres and having the tracking adjusted anyway to see if this stops it and if not do the discs. This probably answers the question but just wanted peoples opinion on whether a mis aligned wheel would cause judder through the pedal and steering wheel when braking
On the subject of tyres should i stick with Bridgestone So3's or is it a bad move to mix front and rear combinations?
Thanks in advance.
