Went down to B&Q today to have a look at possible finishes.

Made 2 realisations:

1. There are 4 kinds of treatment - oil, stain, sealant and protector.
2. I'm going to need loads of it

I hate painting!

Spoke to the trade supplier where I got all my timber and they suggested oil as the best thign to use. Anyone know if it's sprayable?

Deck is 75'x18' with 2 sets of steps, balustrade aroudn 3 sides and about 30m2 of ranch-fence.

It's amazing how we make cars from material that dents and rusts, and decking from something that rots!!
