does anyone actually know when this is being released? It seems like a really good idea, one box in your living room to do everything

Should already be out. My mate at work has it and our company 360 has it as well. Pretty good actually.

Its streaming, not from a sattelite connection, from what I read, if you want to watch live streams, then you need a multiroom subscription (e.g. live football), for everything else (e.g. movies), just a normal sky subscription.

Yup, that date was plastered over the dashboard yesterday as well smile

If you are a Gold Member with a Sky Subscription, then it say's there is no charge.

Anything other than that, and as Silverbullet says, prices are to be confirmed.......

Yeah on dashborad bascially if you have Sky already and a gold membership its free. If you dont have Sky you can sign up for online viewing but you dont need a dish for it etc and its not a fixed contract. But you must be a GOld memeber to get it. HTH

Will the footy and movies be in HD.

Being a Virgin customer, this would be a step up...

Some of the clips about it (from E3 IIRC ??) show football being watched, so I guess it will be in HD ?
