tvr11 - cosmos blue or cobalt blue?

hi all, my paint code is tvr11 which according to the stickied 'alternative paint code' discussion is cobalt blue.

im pretty sure the color is actually cosmos blue...can somebody confirm ? there is a pict on my profile....i think cobalt blue is darker than mine

Hi pac-man,

My Tuscan is listed as Cosmos Blue on the orriginal sales invoice, if you don't mind waiting until I get home tonight I will have a look and see what code is on the plate in the boot.

My sales invoice says Eclipse Blue, but my car is Estoril Blue (which is a different colour). TVR

According to my info they are both the same colour and are a PORSCHE colour, code 38U. Any problems please post or email the last 4 digits of your chassis no. and year of car and I will have a look on the computer.

I've got the same code on my Cosmos Tuscan.

I thought TVR Cosmos blue was Porsche Cobalt blue so maybe that's where the confusion comes from.

has anybody with a cosmos blue /tvr11 had any bodywork done ? any problems matching the color ?

i checked out a couple of picts of cobalt porches on the internet but thought it looked a bit darker than mine...could just be the picts

will find out the chasis number....cheers !

I've had paintwork done on mine a few times and the match has been pretty much perfect.

yes no problem, i have more info on RM paint codes than ICI/NEXA paint though, in that in around 2003 some computers were replaced so a lot of history was lost.

My paint code is R2833 starmist Cosmos. Any ideas where I can purchase some touch up paint?
