I want something new to play and cant decide what at the moment. For "new" read "That I haven't got" - something brilliant from the last couple of years that I've overlooked would be great smile

Spec isnt an issue (ageing but still adequate dual core with 2 gig of RAM and an 8800gt - it wont max out Crysis but it plays everything else at 1920x1200 without issues).

So, I like FPS, RPGs and RTSs.

Need some ideas if anyone has any.. Im not being set on fire by the current crop of releases..

Current favourites:
Fallout 3
Sins of a Solar Empire
Team Fortress 2
Supreme Commander

Games Library (what I have)
All the Command and Conquer games
Fallout 3 (+ all the expansions)
Sins of a Solar Empire (+entrenchment)
Diablo 2
Mass Effect (unplayably crashy and buggy - would be nice to play it!)
Hellgate London
Baldurs Gate 1&2
Neverwinter Nights 1&2
Left 4 Dead
Orange Box
World in Conflict
Universe at War
Galciv
Guild Wars
Supreme Commander (+ expansion)
Doom 3
Quake 4
Company of Heroes
Warcraft 3
Maelstrom (dire, never buy it)
Warhammer- Mark of Chaos
Dawn of War (+ all expansions)
Dawn of War 2
Shadowgrounds : Survivor
Stalker
Warcraft 3
Prey

+ a few boxes of older stuff that doesnt get to live on the shelf near the PC.

I recently got Call of Duty: World at War but finished the single-player in 2 days am getting bored of the repetitive multi-player.

What about Assassins Creed - some reviews good, some bad but it kept me coming back for weeks

Check out direct2drive's birthday sale, bunch of games going for a fiver as a promo.

Bioshock's definitely worth a fiver if you've not played it.

Got Bioshock. Wasnt too impressed tbh. Nice, but pretty much a corridor shooter. Preferred Fear (I know, Im a heretic, burn me...)

Thanks for the idea though.

There is a new chapter for Left 4 Dead due out tomorrow (Crash Course - http://uk.xbox360.gamespy.com/xbox-360/left-4-dead... )

Other than that I've just got hold of Res-evil 5 which should keep me occupied for a couple of weeks.

Tomorrow you say? Left 4 Dead you say?

Thats what Im playing tomorrow then biggrin

(PS have you seen the teletubbies mod for L4D? Disturbingly funny :P)

Resi5 is fan-soddding-tastic. Not without it's flaws but it will keep you occupied for quite some time. My housemate had it on his PS3 and it was played to death.
