Stick or Twist??

Having owned my Tuscan S here in Sunny Spain for 6 months and enjoying every minute I have been approached by a client who wants my car. Having decided I love the marque the big question is do I buy another Tuscan S in LHD, A Typhon or the radical Sagaris. With the climate the convertible and very practical Tuscan seems perfect, but the Typhon is a monster. The Sagaris I'm not sure about and I think the ground clearance would be a problem on the roads and speed bumps, ruts and my driveway. If you guys had the choice what would you do?

Wouldn't sell my Chimaera for another one I know exactly what I've got, if your car is sorted keep hold of it.
Tell the other guy to go find his own one or offer to assist in the purchase of one for him as you've been there and done it already.

I saw the Typhon at MPH03 and I'm very impressed. It has a lot of "presence" and is somewhat longer than the Tuscan. If the roof came off I would be very interested but as it does not and that's an important issue for me, I'm not. Saw the Sgaris at HL Gorner in Wigan. It's very striking but I see it (IMHO) as a track car. I think I'm going to stick with my Tuscan S for a while yet even though my good lady wife is nagging me to order a DB9 Volante. However, she has not offered to pay for it!

If you're thinking Typhon or Sagaris, I recommend that you buy us both a Sagaris. I doubt either of us will be disappointed, and the money will be about the same .

having seen the Typhon and sagaris at MPH...it all depends on what styling you're after.

The Sagaris has a totally different styling (IMO) from the Tuscan and the Typhon....a new look completly.

Personally......the Typhon is just incredible.

...that type of nagging sounds like an instant remedy for the all too common "selective deafness" syndrome that afflicts most guys from time to time!!

You would have a bit of a wait for a Typhon I belive there is a two year delivery time, If your happy with the Tuscan S go for another, although personally I would not go for a LHD one. I was quiet surprised when I sat in a LHD one it actually had less leg & head room than a RHD one and the pedal area is also not as wide due to the cats being on that side.

Phil,

your Tuscan will be probably the most radical looking car on the road in Spain, the new TVRs may look good, but they haven't got the "Batmobile" curves of the Tuscan... and as you say, the cross between hardtop and semi-convertible is ideal for Spain.

Plus, on the wary side, if the car you have is running faultlessly and you are happy with it, don't sell it, let the other guy buy new!
