ph free classifieds limit?

hi all,im new here and basicaly after some info,i am not a trader or involved in selling loads of cars,however,i do change my cars by swapping them and get bored quite quickly sometimes.

Up until now ive been using ebay,but have found that ph have a free advert system,my question is do they have an advert limit in say each month/year etc?

I was told by a friend that he got banned for listing quite a few cars,as they said he was a trader(which he isnt)and couldnt list anymore without paying a fee,which made it more expensive for hime then ebay.

I just want to make sure before i use the service as i dont want to get banned/reported as a trader etc for using the site for free to advertise my cars for swap

How often are u talking? If u were posting a car for sale every 6 months I'm sure there'd be no problem but if your getting bored and changing your car every week you could see why they might suspect something

hi thanks for your reply,i think he said he had put 3 cars on in 6 months,i tend to change mine roughly between 1 to 3 monthly,do you think i would run into problems?

Also is there a t&c area i could check to see if it is mentioned as a definitive amount?

It's not laid down in the T&C's, no real reason that I can see to ban anybody for 3 ads in 6 months.

We would however like members to join in the forums and not just place ads.

cool,ok thanks for that guys,i enjoy posting up on the forums,and have been a mechanic 13 years so can offer advice also,i normally when i change car join an owners forum,but this one looks good and seems to cater for everything,i look forward to sticking around.

If you sell more than 5 cars in a year then both trading standards and the tax man view you as a trader, so this is the definition that we work to as well.

We will also investigate as a result of tip-offs or if anything else arouses our suspicion, as it is an offence under The Business Advertisements (Disclosure) Order 1977 for trade adverts to not be clearly marked as such.
