I am thinking of buying the "Original Porsche 996 Tequipment Sport Suspension Kit" as advertised by Design 911 and other suppliers including OPCs.

At about £600 it seems extremely good value for a complete set of dampers/springs/arbs. Especially if its time for a suspension overhaul.

Has anyone fitted the above kit and how did the car handle afterwards?

Hi

Can I ask if you got answers to this elsewhere or even when as far as to purchase this? I am looking at the same package.

Where did you get the £600 price from?

Thanks

M030 sports suspension for 986 and 996 was circa 650 for a long time until 2 years ago. At the previous price, it was stonking value for money. I think it's still sub 1k now so in the grand scheme of things still good value compared to other offerings.

I have heard that the kits for the 996.1 are no longer available, but they are for the 996.2. One can of course fit a 996.2 kit to a 996.1 but your OPC will not be able to match the kit to your chassis number.

I was looking through the file that came with mine and there's an invoice for about £550 for the kit from Porsche and about the same again for fitting.
