Good News!

After picking up the S1 2 weeks ago I took the car to a local garage for an inspection and he has called today to say the chassis/outriggers are in really good condition, in his own words (one of the best he has seen) and while it needs some tidying and hammeriting it should be ok for many years to come. I appreciate that he has not had the body off but he has had a good look underneath.

so now I can concentrate on a bit of engine work (service, new pipes etc) and then the cosmetic (new roof/carpets/seats)

Great to hear, and if its a garage thats told you thtr then the chances are it is really good, after all they are looking for work whereas when we look we are hoping not to find any.Hope the rest goes as well.
