best Freesat deals

Seems Sky is to be avoided if one wants HD, does anyone know the best way to go for this?

I have Freesat and yes it is free apart from buying the box but the availble channels are very limited compared to Freeview.

That said I do enjoy watching Russian news... really.

Really? according to the blurb Freesat has 140 odd channels and Freeview around 45
