Best 37" TV for watching sky+& BlueRay movies

I plan to purchase a new TV very soon and would like a bit of advise please.
The TV is for my front room and unfortunately I am restricted to a corner position.
So the size I am after is 37". I wont be having a Suround Sound system, so must rely on the sound quality of the TV.
My budget is £1000
