Good game to play on hour long commute on train?

Just started commuting into London, takes about an hour to hour and half. Have a laptop, and can get an internet connection through my phone if need be, but haven't got a massive amount of data usage. My laptop has a decent amount of RAM and an average graphics card, so no games that require massive amounts of graphics power! Also no use of joystick, mouse, etc, just a keyboard and touch pad.

So, baring all that in mind, what would the gamers of PH suggest?

Save your laptop and do the toughest Sudoku you can. Times' Super Fiendish is a good starter. The time will whizz by.

This is why I have Doom 95 on mine. Tis great in the middle of a commute to crack out the laptop and get a bit of Doom on the go. Even better if you find anyone else keen with a laptop and get a bit of multiplayer on the go

I've been told if I do this again I have to find an alternative mode of transport to work.
