Never took time to watch this before but watched some repeats last night one of which was about supercharging ,,very interesting that Mercedes and Bentley were battling out back int the 30's and then in the 40's they took to the the skies to battle it out in the power stakes this time to give the pilots the edge over there opponents,,the sound of the ME109 (supercharged mercedes powered)coming towards the camera in the closing clip is awesome and when you consider these planes attacked bombers head on at the blink of an eye probably at closing speeds of 4-500mph then it must of been frightening as well as unbelievable.

Have you ever tried the WWII flight simulators ? Go head to head with another fighter and you too can experience the lightning feeling of "there he is, oh, I'm dead" !
