Combi Boiler Question for the Plumbers

I have a 6 year old ravenheat combi boiler which takes forever to heat the domestic hot water.

With the central heating set to off when I switch on the hot tap the burner fires up and the radiator closest to the boiler gets hot and then eventually the water from the hot tap runs hot.

Am i correct in thinking that the 3 way valve is f**ked.

I had a similar situation & it replacing the diverter valve fixed it.
