Hi All,

This will be my first PF, so please excuse me if questions seem daft.Firstly When can I buy Tickets?
Will be working friday and travelling Saturday will I have trouble pitching a tent?

Is there enough to keep us amused for 2 days or is a trip into town to hit the pubs and clubs in order.

Look forward to your advice. Dont be to hard on me!

See you there.

Tickets won't be available till much closer I would imagine.

I'm sure you would be able to squeeze a tent in somewhere.

There will be plenty to keep you amused.

About as much as most people.

Are you sure all the poles are here? Is the door supposed to be on the side? Why have we got so many pieces left over?

Plenty to do watching others trying to put up tents.

Stratford is close by so could be worth a wander around at some point during the day - but don't miss the night time entertainment that we're working on.

Tickets will be on sale nearer the time. Probably about 8-10 weeks beforehand or so.

It'll be a very relaxed weekend. The NSRA dragsters will be running all weekend and they are fabulous entertainment. You're also free to wander round the paddock and check out their machinery (which make most of our sports cars look slow!).

Within the PF area we'll have our beer tent, Microlite lights, bungee jump, scrapheap challenge, all the exhibitors all the nice cars and the PistonHeads jet doing aerobatics (this is real!).

The more we get sorted the more I get excited about it!

More info on the website in the next few days if I can find time between working and drinking...

No worries about the tent - the field was huge and most huddled together near the beer tent

As for hitting town for clubs...are you mad, the PH party is WAY better.

The worst aspect of last year was the weather - the forecast said overcast and it was unrelentingly sunny - I got burnt to a crisp. Truly awful

To much hayfever last year, i might pop down to the field with a can of petrol this year and burn all the grass

Either that or take some none-drowsy tablets so I can drink long into the night!!!

Its only January and I am already getting excited

I'll be posting details of that on the site later this week. The plan is to auction the space in the passenger seat!

think it was about £50 for the weekend ticket last year... I'll do a search....

....right, last year it was £25 for an adult ticket & £10 for your car pass that lets you park next to your tent & the action (essential) so £35.

controversial! PetrolTed in inflation busting price hike! only joking...I assume the price will be higher because of all the PH worthy attractions that will meet our eyes?

Like I say, overall you should budget for a similar amount. Full details in due course.

There will be more going on this year if all comes together including of course a big beer session Friday night for the hard core attendess

Ted, please try not to run out of this year. Any chance of some draught instead of cans? Erm, I mean as well as cans.

Please note I'm referring to BEER. This does not mean Lager, Cider or the Black stuff (which is an OK alternative).

Thanks,
