was in a bit of a hurry yesterday and was pressing on a bit, overtook quite a few cars as you do, and the last one was just before some traffic lights. stopped pulled away and this guy pulls up along side and gives me his finger. id done nothing dangerouse, and only overtook safely, so i couldnt really see the need for that. i suppose him being in his 4x4 pick up truck makes him king of the road, and no ones aloud to overtake him !.
things like this really piss me off.

Next time blow him a kiss. This happened to me the other day on the Eastern Road. Two lanes and I was making some progress in the inside lane. Can up behind some fool in the outside lane overtaking nothing with no one else in sight. He obviously assumed I was going to undertake him so moved into the inside lane, so I then moved out and went round him. At the next set of lights he was behind me waving his arms around and shouting something. It was very funny watching him getting all worked up. He clearly didnt think he was in the wrong for sitting in the outside lane doing nothing. I just turned around and blew him a kiss and waved at him as if I knew him. It did a great job of winding him up even more and gave me a great sense of satisfaction. Sometimesrroad rage can be very enjoyable.

I like to point and laugh. As Jim says it gets them up going even more...I might even throw in another undertake if Im feeling saucy. Normally with my hazards on and leaving them on long into the distance in response to the 'headlamp flash' usually associated with a disgruntled crap car driver.
Don't sweat it mate, I overtook a woman in a perfectly safe manner with adequate space and she started flashing her headlamps, I just think whatever and carry on at my own pace she disappears into the background. I pull up a few minutes later at a set of lights and she arrives behind me and starts the flashing again. I guess I must have really ruined her evening

I've had the finger acouple of times, but generally its the other person in the wrong. With the Ginetta I always feel like people in 4x4s are up themselves, don't know if its because they sit up high or because their heavily protected probably a mixture of both.
Only the other week at a roundabout I was waiting to go, and some 4x4 comes up on the right besides me completely blocking my view, I nudge forward for a better view and so does he.
They have absolutely no consideration or are just bad drivers, don't like it when you go round bends quicker or over take them.

Last time this happened to me I slowed down and let the other car follow me, and then I indicated into the next laybye and pointed in and pulled in.
The following driver then went past very sheepishly and did the "not going to look at you" routine. So I pulled back out and promptly re-overtook and hey presto, no flashing or finger!

Thats risky. The following driver then went past very sheepishly and did the "not going to look at you" routine. So I pulled back out and promptly re-overtook and hey presto, no flashing or finger!

Especially as when one of my mates did this and the bloke actually stopped and got out of the car and he was some local 'doorman' or something and was like built like a brick outhouse!
