What's the story with this S1?

Just wondering if anyone has called up about this car? Assume it must be Cat C/D, but does not state it in the add. Doesn't look like a scam!!

I haven't called as I'm not yet in the market for an Elise (trying to buy my 1st house), just wondering why so cheap?

No idea but looks like its still on original Konis (ride height suggests that) and they would be at or very near the end of their life. No pics of the interior either and the cover over the seat could mean anything.
I've got a very well sorted car in the classifieds - asking more, but that reflects the spec, but I don't mind a haggle

You can see the reg no. so a couple of quid would soon determine if it is on the register or not.

i called yesterday, got this foreign woman who could not speak much english so just ended the call seems dodgy to me.
