Help, going to look at a cerb

Hi all, I'm planning to go look at a cerb on sat the 14th. A good friend has offer to come with me but I'd like to take someone that knows what to look for in a TVR. I was thinking of calling up some specialist or failing that if any one hear would like some beer tokens?

Wheres the Cerb? May be worth finding the location of a good Indie nearby to possible arrange an inspection at their premises - that way it can be put up on a ramp and looked at properly.
Do you also have a link to the car in question? It could well be known by people on here (saved me going to look at some right dogs when I bought my T350)
No doubt certain others will be along shortly to recommend 'someone else' but you pays your money and all that....

What's going on with your car? Is it going in to get the clutch replaced?

I'm currently on holiday so i havnt got all the details on me but I'll list what I can remember. It's a 1997 in a redish colour with the 4.2 lump. Done 44k and had a rebuild 2 and half years ago and has done less that 4k on the new engine. The rebuild cost £4000 so must have been quite major. Owww and the car us in Portsmouth. When I go view the car the current owner has agreed to provide drive on ramps. I have the understanding the current owner works for BMW so im gess BMW ramps. I'm still to ask when the clutch was last changed but I'd gess it was done with the engine. The Cerb has just had a mot and failed on damaged brake lines that had been rubbing but the owner is having this fixed as I post.
