Exige S2 boot cable

Hi,

Has any one fitted a new boot release cable to an Exige S2?
Any help or advise gratefully received.

I'd be interested to know this too. Mine is a bit stiff at times and on Monday after a session on track it completely seized. After some swearing and going out again it was perfect again. Got to the 'I don't trust it' stage though.

I presume its a basic cable and probably a cheap one at that so maybe a decent bike brake cable would be a suitable replacement.

Done some google searching and found the part no. A122B0253S "Cable - Tailgate Release Exige S2"
Placed an order at b&c £10 delivered
It does look a lot like an old motorbike brake cable.
Just need to fit it now.
