I'm in Germany in 10 days time and might have the chance to do the Nurburgring, but it would be in a crappy hire vehicle. If I do is it OK to put the Ring sticker on my TVR, or is that not on?

If it's a german vehicle it should have Insurance as The ring is a public road. It's English companies that says it's a race track.

I went over last month in my M3 and now the car wears the sticker with pride. To me it is an indication that the driver AND the car have made the pilgrimage, however it is your car so do what you want.

I'd be tempted to secret film the hire company when you give the car back with the ring sticker in plain view. Should be amusing.
