I was advised that this test was coming up. A friend of mine is a lorry driver delivering classics and exotica. He dropped the Enzo off for the test, Jethro B then took him out for a blast in the F40!!

Cool. My sub copy hasn't arrived yet. Hmm, means that if it does the work I was going to do on the 'plane on Sunday has to wait.

Octane did F40 Vs Enzo, great article by Mark Hales.

Anyone else spot that despite the effort they went to in blanking off the Enzos rear number plate in the pics, they missed it on a rear shot on one of the little pics Cue one miffed off Enzo owner now I assume??

As is expected of Evo- a dead interesting article tho- who would have put money on their final views??

After all the negative press the F50 has recieved over the years i would never of forseen the result of a test that comprises of a F40 and an Enzo resulting in a F50 being top!

Iguana - it's the same Enzo that they've used before in tests - where they haven't blanked off the 'plate -"xxNZOx" ISTR - I always thought it was that David(?) Li's car - the one who runs Velocx, but haven't been able to establish it yet.

Whatever - great test and great mag too

Sorry about the shamless plug but it was nice to see that two of the 4 cars had a Tubi...

The GTO had a custom built Tubi..... and in fact the chap who put it on, I know rather well. He now actually has an F50 instead which also has a Tubi.

Also - look carefully at the picture of the Enzo rear end on page 94. Where is the muffler normally visible through the back? Well there isn't one - it is wearing a straight through Tubi which is why it sounds so good (otherwise they sound quite meek actually). Currently his is the only Enzo in the UK to have one. That will change at the end of January.

The MAIN man himself - owner of Veloqx.
Incredible collection of cars, of which NONE are standard.
