Have just finished watching the replay of round 2

Looked absolutely brilliant fun ....lucky for the cars that were below 47th ....they get a bye

McRae seems to be pretty good at it so far, 6 stages gone and lying in third overall. Not bad for his first ever crack at the event!

And to think he won't be in the WRC next season. I just hope he comes back the following year refreshed and ready to take the field by storm.

Colin has won the latest stage (even after nearly being out).

Colin McRae has set the fastest time on the 13th stage of the Dakar Rally today (Wednesday), becoming the first Briton since 1990 to win a stage of the epic desert enduro.

He's 18th now
