Interesting photos and data. To my mind the front styling remains controversial with an unfortunately bland Japanese look. It looks as though the low hood is retained despite the raised front wings for the fixed lights so no room for those "ZR" overhead cams after all!
1. I'm sure the pre-publicity talked about a 5 speed auto? This says it's still 4.
2. Revised EMT tyres? Wonder whether they're more flexible in the side wall.

One day I like it, the next I don't. It's very generic and looks like someone stuck Ferrari 360 Modena lights on the front of a C5. Strikes me that's all Chevy did was copy the Ferrari. The back end is very like the Elise but the reduction in length is welcome.
Irrespective of the styling, having the Corvette label guarantees that it will be 100% reliable and can still be serviced by just about anybody and that it will depreciate slowly. From that point of view, it's worth the money and if it goes as well as the last Z06, it's going to be a real bargain.

To me it seems to have much more character and detail than the C5, the only thing I don't like is the grille. The rear I like much better than the C5 though. Is it just me, or do all American cars seem to have a really generic, cheap look to them? The C6 is close to breaking the trend on that one. My father still likes his C5 better... Hopefully he'll wait out for the Z06 model, then I can drive it! I wish Chevrolet would switch to an overhead cam engine (maybe designed by Lotus again?), but the C5 engine has more than enough power for me, and the C6 even moreso. I would drive it.

Think I will wait for the "Blue Lightening" version in a couple of years time........
You mean the Blue Devil. I have a feeling that IF that car goes into production, it will be in very limited numbers, and would require a driver with pro racing credentials, and wouldn't be street legal (but of course track legal) like the CC.
